Douglas College 15th Annual Summer Camps Posted: 2010.04.07
Douglas College will be holding its 15th annual summer
camps this year with almost 60 camps to choose from. Don't miss out on our baseball camps, ideal for players of all levels. Topics will include hitting
and stance, fielding and throwing and additional training techniques. Camps will be instructed by qualified baseball coaches and Douglas College
players. Participants will receive a summer camp t-shirt. Register by June 1st for the chance to win some great early bird prizes.

Challenger Program Golf Tournament Posted: 2008.11.15

Joe Burns Passes Away Suddenly Posted: 2008.08.23
The British Columbia Little League family suffered another tragic loss August 22 with
the sudden passing of Joe Burns, District Administrator for District 3. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joe's family.

District 3 Whalley Wins 2008 Provincial Seniors Posted: 2008.07.30
The Whalley Seniors have completed a District 3 sweep of all provincial tournaments for 2008 as they defeated Coquitlam 19-1 in the Championship. Whalley now moves on to
the Canadian Senior Championships in Oakville, Ontario - August 1st to August 8th. Congratulations and good luck to the
Whalley Seniors, and a special congratulations to District 3 on this very impressive achievement!

District 3 Whalley Wins 2008 Provincial Juniors Posted: 2008.07.29
The Whalley juggernaut through the provincial tournaments continues as the Whalley Juniors won the Provincial Championship defeating the Cypress Park Monarchs 10-1.
Whalley now moves on to the Canadian Junior Championships
in Coquitlam July 31-August 7 to defend their 2007 title. Best of luck at the Canadians guys!

District 3 Whalley Wins 2008 Canadian Bigs Posted: 2008.07.29
Congratulations to Whalley, representing District 3 on winning the Canadian Bigs Championship. Whalley defeated the
host Ontario District 2 Ottawa team 9-1 in the final. Whalley now moves on to the Big League World Series
in Easley, South Carolina July 26-August 2 - good luck to the Canadian Champs!

District 3 White Rock Wins 2008 Provincial Majors Posted: 2008.07.27
In an exceptional championship game, White Rock scored 2 runs to come from behind in the bottom of the 6th inning to defeat Layritz at the Provincial Majors Championship in Prince George.
Congratulations to White Rock who now advance to the Canadians Little League Championships in Sidney Mines, Nova Scotia.

District 3 Whalley Wins 2008 Provincial 9-10s Posted: 2008.07.27
Congratulations to Whalley, representing District 3 on winning the Provincial 9-10 Championship in Oak Bay. In an unprecedented 5-way tie for first, it was a nightmare scenario for tournament officials,

Little League Baseball Canada extends a special Congratulations to Al Price and Al Herback, who are to be inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame on May 30th. Al Herback
and Al Price, better known as Little Al and Big Al are the originators of the Little League Official Education Program for Managers and Coaches. They held their first baseball clinic in Calgary, Alberta in 1972 and went on to become
the first instructors invited to teach baseball in the former Soviet Union.

B.C. Little League Legend Dies Posted: 2008.02.20
B.C. lost one of its great builders and coaches this week when baseball icon Andy Bilesky of Trail passed away at 88. Andy's legacy of
Provincial and Canadian championships is unmatched, and his impact on Canadian baseball spanned all provinces. All baseball organisations in Canada knew that when they faced Andy's teams,
they were up against the best, and he forced everyone to raise their game to compete with him. Little League B.C. joins with all baseball fans
in Trail, B.C and Canada in mourning the loss of one of the great figures of the game.
